General

  • What is in-vehicle advertising?

    • In-vehicle advertising is the medium by which organizations connect with rideshare passengers during their trips. Our in-vehicle system plays your ads on recent generation iPads mounted to the back of headrests of our drivers cars. Typically our drivers schedule their rides using Uber or Lyft. We contract directly with drivers and have no affiliation with Uber, Lyft or other rideshare companies.

  • Where can I advertise?

    • We currently operate in New York City, Boston, and Washington DC. We plan to introduce new cities regularly. If you would like to advertise in a city we don't currently serve, please reach out using the contact form on this website or by emailing contact@autovue.co to let us know. We may be able to prioritize the new city with enough interest.

  • I can't find the answer to my question, how do I get help?

Ad Creation

  • Where do I get my ads? Can you create Ads for us?

    • A quality ad will help towards the success of your campaign. We're here to guide you through the process, but do not participate in the actual creation of the ads. We encourage you to find an experienced professional to help you craft your advertisement.

  • Can I use QR codes or promotion codes in my ads?

    • Yes, absolutely. Using a promotion code or other means of opt-in tracking for the purpose of sales attribution is a great practice and we encourage it.

  • What kind of ads can I play?

    • We can show still image ads in JPG or PNG format, and video ads in MP4.

  • What should my ad's dimensions and resolution be?

    • All of our iPads have retina displays with identical screen specifications of a 4:3 aspect ratio and 2048 x 1536 resolution.

  • Can I still use my ad if it has a different resolution or aspect ratio than your iPad screens?

    • Absolutely! Ads that have the same specs as the iPad screen are just the best case sceanrio. If for example, you already have a 1080P, 16:9 video ad intended for HDTV screens it will most likely look just fine. If your concerned, we can most likely show you what your ad would look like on a test system ahead of time.

  • How many ads can I run at the same time?

    • The amount of concurrent ads depends on the plan you choose. Please see the details of our plans in our Pricing section

  • How long does it take for my ad to start playing after creating a campaign?

    • We review each ad to make sure they comply with our terms and will display correctly on the iPads. We alot 24 - 48 hours for this process, but it can often be much sooner than that.

Account Questions

  • Can I change my plan to a different one? How can I cancel?

    • Sure! At the moment, to change your plan to a bigger or smaller one, or cancel the service altogether, just send an email to subscriptions@autovue.co and we'll treat it with the highet priority. You can cancel at anytime, but please try to do so 3 business days ahead of your next charge to avoid any accidental charges. You'll always get the ad plays for the month you already paid for when cancelling.

  • What is the free trial / how does it work?

    • Our free trial allows you to try the product before you are charged. You will have access to all the same features as a paid subscriber, including analytics. At the end of the trial period you will automatically be enrolled in the plan you selected for the trial.

  • Why does the trial autorenew?

    • Currently, this is the simplest way for us to offer a free trial with our application and payments provider. We are working on new functionality that will allow for more advanced account and subscription management. As mentioned above, for the time being, you can cancel at any time by emailing subscriptions@autovue.co, including during the trial period. If you cancel your service before the end of the trial you will not be charged. If you switch plans befor the end of your trial period, you will be charged for the plan you are switching to, and not the trial plan.

  • How / when am I billed?

    • Typically, our customers are billed on the first of each month using the credit or debit card that was entered at sign up. If your first charge is mid month, either when you are signing up or the end of a trial, that first charge will typically be prorated, then you will be charged on the first of the month beginning the second month.

  • It says all subscriptions are monthly, what if I wanted only a week or two?

    • If you would like an option not available in our current plans, please email sales@autovue.co and we can try to craft a custom plan for you.
